About the Role
Equans is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis at Barnet General Hospital. In this role, you will follow all reasonable instructions from your line manager and wider management team, promoting a professional image at all times by wearing company-issued uniform and PPE as required. You will maintain a polite and courteous manner towards colleagues, patients, staff, and visitors. A key responsibility is to adhere strictly to all company guidance, particularly health and safety protocols, to protect yourself, colleagues, clients, and the public from accidents and injuries. Your duties will include attending to blockages in soil, waste, and domestic drainage services, assisting colleagues with their tasks, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works as designated by management.

Experience
Experience within Maintenance, Construction, or Facilities Management is required. Experience working on drainage systems is beneficial.

You must be able to pass a DBS Standard check as this role requires it. You should demonstrate a professional attitude, be safety conscious, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Qualifications
