About the Role
Equans are seeking a Senior Operations Manager – Soft FM to lead all Soft FM operations on the university contract, ensuring services run smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will act as the key link between Equans and the university’s FM team, managing cleaning, security, caretaking, helpdesk, and other Soft FM teams. The role involves maintaining strong client relationships, driving continuous improvement, innovation, and cost efficiency, and supporting commercial activity and contract development. You will recruit, train, develop, and motivate a large, diverse operational workforce while managing budgets, business plans, and departmental strategies. Some out-of-hours attendance will be required. Experience
- Extensive experience managing Soft FM and security services at a senior level
- Proven track record of meeting SLAs and KPIs
- Experience managing large teams and prioritising workloads
- Skilled in budget management and financial systems
- Familiarity with CAFM systems such as Maximo or similar
- Experience in contract negotiation and implementation
