About the Role
Join our Outage Planning Department as a Planning Engineer, playing a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure operation of SPEN’s Distribution network. You will be responsible for coordinating all system users and network outages impacting the distribution network from two years ahead to day-ahead timescales to a high technical standard. Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with major customers is key, as is intervening when necessary to ensure planning, safety, and customer service standards are not compromised.

What’s in it for you
Alongside a competitive salary reviewed annually, you will benefit from a pension scheme with double matching contributions up to 10%, 36 days annual leave, holiday purchase options, share schemes, payroll giving and charity matched funding, technology vouchers, electric vehicle schemes, cycle to work scheme, public transport season ticket loans, healthcare benefits including dental, private medical insurance, health cash plan and annual health assessments, life assurance (4x salary), access to financial wellbeing support, plus shopping, leisure, restaurant and gym discounts, and unique employee deals on travel insurance and more.
