About the Role
Join our Regulation team at ScottishPower, part of the Iberdrola Group, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our Customer Business remains responsive to evolving energy regulation and policy. As a Senior Regulation Analyst, you will influence regulatory policy decisions and provide essential advice across internal teams. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the business to produce responses to regulatory consultations and requests, preparing submissions to Government, Ofgem, and other parties, and reviewing business communications and policies from a regulatory perspective to ensure compliance while maintaining operational flexibility and cost efficiency. You will help colleagues navigate complex regulatory frameworks, interpreting legislation, licence conditions, and industry codes to provide expert advice on internal developments. Additionally, you will monitor emerging business opportunities and risks related to regulatory reform, supporting the business in adapting policies to remain aligned and effective.

Experience
- Demonstrable experience working in a high-pressure environment to tight deadlines
- Experience communicating at all levels including Senior Management and external stakeholders
- Appropriate professional experience in a relevant role

- High degree of professional integrity
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the ScottishPower business within the wider Iberdrola group
- Ability to present concise and clear findings to senior management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high standard of written English
- Ability to assess risk and make sound business decisions based on reasoned judgment
- Understanding of risk management, internal control, and governance
- Ability to prioritise workload while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- Well-developed planning and organisation skills
- Well-developed data analytics skills are desirable

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Knowledge of the GB energy regulatory, commercial, and compliance framework
