About the Role
As Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring the agreement pertaining to the Provision of the NHH Data Retrieval (Meter Reading) contract with Calisen Metering Services (CMS), managing an annual expenditure of circa £4 million. You will continuously analyse reporting and review data retrieval related activities to enable efficient monitoring and control of the service whilst identifying opportunities for improvement on behalf of the business. Supporting the Business Process Expert, you will assist in internal and external stakeholder management of the DR Contract by providing relevant reporting, conclusive analysis, and subsequent recommendations.

In this role, you will lead and influence business requirements related to public safety legislation, monitor and transform raw data, and analyse data consisting of volume, velocity, and variety. You will identify and manage system improvements to drive operational excellence across all processes, track and monitor key performance metrics, and extract actionable insights from internal and industry data. Empowering decision-makers, you will ensure the customer remains at the heart of every change and understand how these changes impact customer experience.

Experience
Proven experience in data analysis, ideally within the energy or utilities sector. Experience with financial systems and data analysis tools such as Power BI, SAP, and SQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration. Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

About you
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences. Skilled at forging alliances across teams and bridging gaps. Highly numerate and analytical with strong relationship management skills. Holds a full UK Driving Licence as occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications
A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related practical field is required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modelling). Experience working with Python, SQL, and Power BI to create reports and solve financial challenges.
