About the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst at Iberdrola Renewables, you will be responsible for monitoring the agreement related to the Provision of the NHH Data Retrieval (Meter Reading) contract with Calisen Metering Services (CMS), managing an annual expenditure of circa £4 million. You will continuously analyse reporting and review data retrieval activities to enable efficient monitoring and control of the service, while identifying opportunities for improvement on behalf of the business. Supporting the Business Process Expert, you will assist in internal and external stakeholder management of the DR Contract by providing relevant reporting, conclusive analysis, and subsequent recommendations.

In this role, you will lead and influence business requirements related to public safety legislation, monitoring, reporting, and transforming raw data. You will analyse data characterized by volume, velocity, and variety, identify and manage system improvements to drive operational excellence across all processes, and track key performance metrics. Extracting actionable insights from internal and industry data, you will empower decision-makers and ensure the customer remains at the heart of every change, positively impacting their experience.

Working with tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI, you will create reports and address financial challenges while forging strong alliances across teams to bridge any gaps. Occasional travel may be required, so a full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Experience
- Proven experience in data analysis, ideally within the energy or utilities sector.
- Experience with financial systems and data analysis tools such as Power BI, SAP, and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related practical field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modelling).
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
