About the Role
Join ScottishPower and lead the way in Back Office excellence within the energy sector. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will drive innovation and change by managing budgeting across Third Parties and spearheading invoicing improvement initiatives. You will design and implement automated checks to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout the invoicing process. This role requires managing a strict budget and confidently challenging suppliers to ensure value for money, while identifying opportunities for process optimisation and innovation. You will work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions and drive operational excellence. Additionally, you will monitor, report, and transform raw data to validate invoicing processes and extract actionable insights for continuous improvement. Your focus will also include managing improvements and automations within invoice, access requests, and approvals, ensuring the customer experience remains central to every change.

Experience
Proven experience in business analysis with a focus on budgeting, invoicing processes, and supplier management. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
About You
Proactive and self-managed with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team, forging strong alliances across departments. Strong analytical thinker with a track record of innovative problem-solving and process optimisation.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Synapse, and PowerBI is essential to create reports, automate checks, and address financial challenges effectively.
