About the Role
Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and design of the 132kV network, ensuring system stewardship, network security, and integrity at all times. You will undertake system analysis to determine load/connections, network alterations, reinforcement requirements, and develop solutions aligned with Asset Management policies and customer needs. Your role includes ensuring processes and reporting arrangements meet regulatory and licence requirements, agreeing scope, volumes, and unit costs to maximise value from the regulatory contract, and integrating asset stewardship values through sound engineering principles, coordinated planning, design, and ownership. You will produce designs in accordance with authorised costs and apply innovative solutions. Additionally, you will develop and maintain robust stakeholder and customer relationships on behalf of Scottish Power and promote an exemplary safety culture within your team.

Proven network construction and operational experience in a Network Design role. Advanced knowledge and expertise in NAMS/SAP (PPM & PM) systems.
