About the Role
Help us create a better future, quicker. The SME (Sales) Service Team is part of the Business Energy channel and is key to the successful delivery of sales and retention within ScottishPower. As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to external partners who contact us with general enquiries. You will ensure queries are managed end-to-end, within SLA, delivering an outstanding service.

You will oversee the operational delivery of a quality service for both Direct and TPI external sales partners, managing and supporting a team of approximately 6-10 FTE. Your role includes achieving personal and SME departmental performance targets, working with internal and external key stakeholders to build strong relationships, and utilising Salesforce for communication and monitoring team activities.

Additional responsibilities include carrying out weekly quality checks, providing weekly updates and reporting on key performance metrics, managing complaints to ensure standards are met, contributing to the development of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service strategies, supporting the Operations Manager, and representing ScottishPower in a positive and professional manner. You will also collaborate closely with internal Account Managers.

Requirements

Experience
- Customer service experience
- People management experience
- Telephone skills with an understanding of the industry structure and operation
- Experience of complaint handling within a regulated environment
- Extensive organisational skills with the ability to self-manage and prioritise workloads
- Experience using office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

About you
- Good interpersonal skills to build relationships at various levels
- Analytical mindset with aptitude for numbers and quality
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- SME experience preferred
