About the Role
The role of a Customer Service Representative is a clerical based position providing business support within the Connections Services area of SP Energy Networks. You will spend most of your day engaging with customers through a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, as well as liaising with internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include providing and following up on customer quotes, assisting with payment processes, managing disconnections and acceptance processes, answering queries, and responding to emails. You will deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, adhering to conversation guidance scripts to ensure procedures are followed while maintaining high service standards. As a member of the Connections team, you will contribute positively and efficiently, adapting to changing tasks and ensuring all relevant IT systems and management reports are accurately and promptly updated in line with performance goals. This role requires a team player committed to supporting business and departmental objectives.

Experience
Proven experience as a Customer Service advisor or within customer service sectors is essential. Experience handling high volumes of telephone communication is required.
About you
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong telephone manner. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Word. A team player who works positively towards business and department goals, adaptable to changing tasks and able to maintain high standards of customer service.
Qualifications
Knowledge of GS/Ofgem/Ombudsman and broader customer service requirements is advantageous. Awareness of SP Energy Networks policies, procedures, and the Connections business process is beneficial but not essential.
