About the Role
As an NRSWA Notification Administrator, you will be responsible for raising and processing road Opening Notices and Permits within the required legislative timescales to enable our contracting partners and staff to work legally on the network. You will manage fault-related plant maintenance orders and scopes to facilitate payment and accurate cost registration. Your role will provide efficient support for coordinating all aspects of HV and LV fault repairs within the Operations function. You will also handle faults and emergency overflow calls from the Distribution Control Centre (DCC) to support operational metrics.
You will raise Plant Maintenance Orders daily to facilitate network work, process paperwork for road opening notices and permits within strict timescales (e.g., within 2 hours of excavation start on a fault), and manage planned notices and permits for scheduled works. Additionally, you will raise work instructions for cable contractors, process purchase orders related to faults, and handle invoices for rechargeable work. Liaison with contractors to ensure proper controls and monitoring, coordination of field staff resources, and compliance with current legislation are key responsibilities. You will collect technical and non-technical information from field staff to ensure accurate and timely communication across internal teams and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
