About the Role
As a Project Coordinator (Design) at Iberdrola Renewables, you will be responsible for the planning and design of the district distribution network, ensuring system stewardship, network security, and integrity at all times. Your role involves undertaking system analysis to determine load/connections, network alterations, reinforcement requirements, and deriving solutions aligned with Asset Management policies and customer needs. You will manage regulatory aspects of connection requests and quotations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and licence requirements. You will agree scope, volumes, and unit costs to maximize value from regulatory contracts and integrate asset stewardship values through sound engineering principles to improve network integrity, safety, and longevity while minimizing scheme costs for customer connections.
You will manage third-party "Point Of Connection" and design approvals within the SPM and SPD licence areas, drive continual performance improvement through analysis and feedback, and consider innovative technological, procedural, or commercial solutions in all designs. Producing designs in accordance with unit or authorised prime costs to enable efficient delivery of outputs is key. You will develop and maintain robust stakeholder and customer relationships to facilitate delivery of strategic objectives and promote an exemplary safety culture, ensuring all safety legislation is implemented and incorporated into project designs.
